Booking conditions

The following booking conditions and general information contained in this website form the basis of your contract with Briars Hall Ltd.

The person making the booking (“the party leader”) must be at least 18 and must be authorised to make the booking on the basis of the booking conditions by all persons named on the booking. The party leader is responsible for making all payments due to Briars Hall Ltd.

Accommodation
In order to confirm your accommodation a non-refundable deposit of £25.00 is required.
In case of a cancellation your £25.00 deposit is non-refundable and will be used for administration costs. All reservations cancelled within 48 hours prior to arrival will be charged at the equivalent of one night’s full value of accommodation booked. We suggest you have travel insurance in place to protect against cancellation charges.

Weddings & banqueting
1. A non-refundable deposit of £250.00 is required to confirm your booking.
2. All catering prices are subject to change without prior notice: a confirmed quotation will only normally be given 10 weeks prior to the function.
3. An appointment should be made with us 10 weeks prior to your function to discuss the specific details of your event. Half the balance is payable at this meeting. Again none refundable due to cancellation – without exception.
4. The final balance is payable 4 weeks prior to the booked event when confirming your final numbers, choice of menu, drinks pack and table plan.
5. The final chargeable number is that stated on the full balance unless numbers increase.
6. We reserve the right to charge for no less than 95%of total numbers quoted by your self when confirming the booking.
7. Should a cancellation occur after confirmation, no refunds will be given for any deposits or balances paid.
8. Where credit cards are used for balance payments a 5% surcharge will be levied.
9. Please inform your guests requiring accommodation, a non-refundable deposit of £25 in needed to confirm the room. Unconfirmed rooms will be released 4 weeks prior to the day of the event. Standard accommodation terms and conditions apply. We operate a strictly no smoking policy in all our bedrooms.
10. Any Entertainment booked through the hotel should be confirmed immediately after confirmation of booking.
11. All prices are inclusive of VAT.
